If you have one day to get Naples, start in the old centre. Spaccanapoli is a way of walking, not a box to tick. Gesù Nuovo early, Sansevero if the queue is worth it to you, San Gregorio off-season, Cathedral for San Gennaro. Lunch where rooms are full. One rule: coffee at the counter, good shoes, no guilt if you get lost.

FAQ

How long do you really need?

A full day with museums and a calm lunch. Half a day for Gesù–Cathedral without long queues.

Is it doable with a stroller?

Partly on main streets, but steps and basalt make it awkward. A carrier is better for small kids.

Morning or afternoon?

Morning: cooler, churches open, good coffee. Late afternoon is noisier and more photogenic.
