Ischia in 3–4 days | Castle & spas

Ischia is not a ferry-stamp trip: castle, La Mortella, spas and a real sea day — without racing town to town.

The route near Ischia (Naples area)

Ischia is the bay’s green island: larger than Capri, less shop-window, full of spas, gardens and climbing roads. Three or four nights stop you reducing it to a castle selfie.

Day one: settle at Ischia Ponte and the Aragonese Castle — stairs, terraces, wind. Day two: west coast, La Mortella if open, Forio at dusk. Day three: spa or long beach. Day four if you have it: Sant’Angelo slow.

Island buses and legs are enough; scooter only if you know island roads. Eat local, leave holes in the plan.

Thermal hotel or B&B plus day spa?

Budget decides. Day parks are flexible; a thermal hotel is handy if you hate moving.

Ischia as a day trip from Naples?
